The Golden Rule: “Set It Up, Then Log It”
The SimonMash ERP is highly relational — a Class needs a Teacher, a Student needs a Class. Follow the blueprint: Foundation → Walls → Roof → Furniture
Phase 1: Laying the Groundwork
Admin Setup1. System Settings
What it does: Define school identity — Name, Logo, Address. This info appears on receipts, certificates, and the website.

2. Academic Year
Why it matters: Create the current year (e.g. 2026-2027) and mark it active. All future data is linked to this year.

4. Staff Management
Add every employee with Professional Number (PEN) and designation. You cannot assign a Class Teacher unless they exist here.
